Local and business leaders attended the Giddings Chamber's event: Lee County Day at the Capitol. The Chamber arranged for transportation and planned a day for Lee County representatives to travel to the Capitol, meet with Texas representatives and to learn about the process of how laws are made as well as about some current laws. The group met and talked with with Representative Stan Gerdes and visited the floor of the House Gallery.
