Giddings Chamber Makes Connections for GHS Job Fair
The Giddings High School hosted their Career Fair for the students on February 19 at the high school and over two dozen businesses attended. The Chamber helped to make connections between GHS and local businesses, encouraging owners to come and meet their future workforce. "Many graduating students may want to jump right into the work force from high school," says Denice, President of the Chamber. "The Career Fair will help them to know what career paths are available right here in our community. When they meet directly with our businesses, their choices are expanded." Denice attended the Career Fair to support the businesses and the High School. She was pleased to see so many students interested in the career choices presented such as the Bluebonnet Lineman tools, Lee County EMS services, and the CNA programs at Towers Nursing Center.
