Texas Wendish Fest

Celebrate Wendish Culture in Giddings at the Texas Wendish Fest in September at the St Pauls Lutheran Picnic Grounds. The day starts with services at St Paul's, a historic painted church, then continues with food, events and demonstrations. See Wendish noodle making, sausage making, and the authentic painting of traditional Wendish Easter eggs. It's a great day for the whole family and lots of activities for the kids.
