Description

Wendish Fest- every 4th Sunday in September is hosted at the Wendish Heritage Museum Complex and picnic grounds of historic St. Paul Lutheran Church (one of the Painted Churches of Texas) in Serbin, Texas, located between Giddings, La Grange and Bastrop. A fun, family oriented day, it features and offers traditional Wendish foods (including homemade Wendish Noodles), folklife demonstrations and exhibits, competitions, children's activities, vintage autos and machinery. Music and entertainment will be provided all day. This will be the 37th annual Wendish fest and is expected to be attended by over 2000 people. There is no festival admission.
